Antique Japanese Katana Sword Shakudo Dragon Theme Tsuba Late 19th Century

Estimated to be from the late 19th century and of Nara school work this is a beautiful Katana tsuba.  In the marugata style and constructed from shakudo(mix of gold and siver) with the Yin and Yang dragons inlaid with gold / silver and in high relief on both the front and reverse sides.  The raised mimi (edge) is decorated clouds with Ategane (Gold Plug) in both the Kozuka and Kogai Hitsuana.  Due to the high Gold and precious metal content this is a very heavy tsuba.
